Submissions
Extended Abstract
We welcome extended abstract submissions for Current Issues in Interiors [CII] 2026 Symposium (hybrid), organized by Yaşar University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design on April 15-17, 2026.
Authors are kindly asked to send their abstracts using the Abstract Template until 3 November 2025 Monday. The abstracts should be submitted to Microsoft CMT CII.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a blind review process by the Scientific Committee. After the review process, the author will receive an e-mail about the final decision as well as the reviewer feedbacks.

Submission Guidelines
- The abstract should be between 900-1200 words (excluding title, author details, keywords).
- The abstract should not include any image/graphic/table.
- The abstract should be written in English (US).
- The abstract should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
- The abstract title should be maximum of 20 words.
- The author details should include: title, name-surname, affiliation, e-mail, phone, and affiliation address.
- The corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*).
- Five keywords should be provided, separated by semicolons (;), with each keyword capitalized.
- The paper size should be A4.
- The title should be 14 pt, Roboto, bold and all capitalized.
- The author details should be 12 pt, Roboto, bold.
- The abstract and keywords should be 11 pt, Roboto, regular.
- Indicate to which track the abstract is submitted (e.g., Track 1, Track 2, Track 3).
- The file name should be: CII_2026_Surname_Surname
Full Paper
Authors with the notification of acceptance are kindly asked to send their full papers using the Full Paper Template until 16th of February, 2026 Monday. The full papers should be submitted to Microsoft CMT CII.
All submitted full papers are expected to be revised according to the Scientific Committee reviews sent through the notification of acceptance e-mail.
Full Paper Guidelines
General
- The full paper should be written in English (US).
- The paper size should be A4.
- The full paper should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
- The full paper should contain title, author details, abstract, keywords, main text, figures (if any), tables (if any) and references.
- The file size of the full paper should be maximum 18 MB.
- The file name should be as follows: CII_2026_Full_Paper_Surname_Surname
Title, Author(s), Abstract & Keywords
- The title should be maximum of 20 words.
- The author details should be given (title, name-surname, affiliation, e-mail, phone and affiliation address) right under the title.
- The corresponding author should be shown by *.
- The abstract should be between 300–500 words (except the title, author details, keywords).
- The abstract should not include images or tables.
- Five keywords should be given which will be separated by semicolon (;). The first letter of each keyword should be capitalized.
Main Text
- The main text should be between 3000–5000 words (except the title, author details, abstract, keywords, figures/tables and references).
Figures & Tables
- The figures should be embedded into the full text. Also, they should be sent separately as .jpg/.jpeg in 300 dpi via transfer link (Google Drive, WeTransfer, etc.). The file name should be: CII_2026_Figure_1_Surname_Surname
- The tables should be embedded into the full text in editable format.
- There are no maximum numbers for the figures and tables.
- All the figures and tables should be “in line with text”.
- The name of each figure should be given under the related figure whereas the name of each table should be given above the related table.
- The figures should be numbered consecutively.
- The tables should be numbered consecutively.
Reference Format
- APA 7th edition should be used both for in-text and end references.
Format (Font, Alignment & Line Spacing)
- The title should be 14 pt, Roboto, bold and all capitalized.
- The author details should be 12 pt, Roboto and bold.
- The abstract and keywords should be 11 pt, Roboto and regular.
- The main text should be 12 pt, Roboto and regular.
- The sub-titles in the main text should be 12 pt, Roboto and bold.
- The main text should be justified.
- The figures and tables should be center aligned.
- The main text and end-references should be single-spaced.
- There should be no blank space between the figure and the figure name below. Before the figure, there should be a single blank space.
- There should be no blank space between the table and the table name above. After the table, there should be a single blank space.
The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.
